Itinerary

• After 1 hour drive from Chiang Mai, arrive at the elephant sanctuary and complete the necessary registration and safety briefing.
• Begin your experience with an introduction to the elephants, their history, behavior, and individual stories.
• Learn about the ongoing conservation efforts and how your visit contributes to elephant welfare.
• Learn about their dietary needs and the importance of providing enrichment activities to stimulate their minds.
• Participate in feeding the elephants their morning meal.
• Take a leisurely walk with the elephants through their natural habitat.
• Join the elephants in a refreshing bathing session.
• Learn about the significance of mud for their skin health and natural behaviors.
• Observe their interactions and behaviors while your guide provides insights into their social dynamics.
• Enjoy local lunch.
• Bid farewell to the elephants and sanctuary staff.
• Drive about 40 minutes to Sticky Waterfall (Buatong Waterfall).
• At the waterfall you can take time relaxing, climbing up and down the waterfall’s tiers (The mineral deposits make the rocks feel sticky and provide excellent traction, even when the rocks are wet), taking a refreshing dip in shallow pools, taking a look at Ched Si Spring or enjoying stunning views of the surrounding forest and landscape.
• Drive about 1 hour back to Chiang Mai.
