Explore the countryside and forests in Mae Wang area south of Chiang Mai with a minimal trek. Meet the Karen and Hmong tribe, take an elephant ride, go bamboo rafting, visit a waterfall.

Itinerary
Depart from hotel at 8.30 a.m. and drive about 1 hour to Mae Wang, 60 km southwest of Chiang Mai. Then, take an elephant ride for 30 minutes up the hill. After that we will drive to Karen village to see the way of life of Karen people. From the village we will trek to Mae Wang waterfall which will take around 40 minutes. We will take a rest at the waterfall or you can go swimming in the pool beneath the fall. After that we will drive to a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive to the bamboo rafting camp and you will go bamboo rafting through many rapids on the Mae Wang River for 1 hour before returning to Chiang Mai.
